HIPPOTYCH

The Hippotych box constructions reflect my fascination with the circus and ideas of weight vs. weightlessness, conscious thought vs. subconscious. In Hippotych, each of the three hippopotami is firmly planted to the ground while acrobats, clowns and a ballerina perform high in the space above.
