TWIGS

When I walk our two border collies in a local state park, I am constantly seeing body shapes in the twisted branches of trees and bushes. When I stumbled upon a stack of tiny boxes in a flea market, I decided they would become the heads to the twig bodies I had gathered.

I created Behold An Angel in 2012 and used a photo of it on our family Christmas card. In my stocking that same year I found a music box that plays Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. The music box became the “brain” behind the "puzzled" face in Taking The Stairway To Heaven.
